When the communication is terminated all ports are reopened and the phone comes back online for all installed and active apps and services. All communication from any internet-connected user and everything displayed on his device can be easily cloned and "streemed" in real time to one or more external devices. This function prevents it by closing fisically incoming and outgoing connections to system services and applications other than Anonical.
